The Uranium Fever event can be found at Blackwater Mine, which unfortunately has nothing to do with Red Dead Redemption 2. It's located directly east of, but close to, the Whitespring Resort in the Savage Divide region of Fallout 76's Appalachia map. The Enclave is a faction with a long history in the Fallout franchise, even before Bethesda acquired it. They were the primary villains of Fallout 3; remnants of the US government who are seeking to regain control of the wasteland, often through strict control. Indeed, in Fallout 3 the Enclave was seeking to take control of the region's water supply. In the year 2102, the Enclave had retreated to the Poseidon Oil Rig, the control facility from which the government would monitor the Vault-Tec vaults and plot their return.
The Fallout 76 setting name was first referenced in a Tweet yesterday, referring to the newly-revealed Guitar Sword. Choosing Appalachia as the name of the Fallout 76 setting makes perfect sense. The real-world Appalachia is a region in the US which spans land n 13 different states. However, a central portion of the area is in West Virginia. Indeed, the name most commonly refers to that area in Virginia which includes the Blue Ridge Mountains; a mountain range which is actually mentioned by name in the song Country Roads.
The Appalachian region has a reputation in America for being home to somewhat backwards or uncivilised people; mostly perpetuated by sensationalist stories yellow journalism. Publications which use mostly fabricated stories with provocative headlines rather than legitimate reporting.
That anger is due primarily to the mishandling of the Fallout 76 release.
