It looks like the biggest change addressed in the update is the Specialization ammunition drop rate. This ammo had a lower drop rate than anticipated, so the update has increased the chances of you running into Specialization ammo moving forward. Unfortunately, Ubisoft didn't share exactly how much of an increase the drop rate received. The other fixes are more minor bugs that you might not have even encountered while playing. While today's update is on the smaller side, Ubisoft is gearing up for a much larger update to release next week. More information about the 2.1 patch can be found here.

We've seen the conversation in our community with the balancing in the game and everything. And there's a lot of this conversation that we would prefer to have before the update comes out," live content manager Yannick Banchereau said in The Division 2's latest State of the Game update. "So there's a lot of those things that we would rather put on a PTS, and then we would have that feedback and we can act on it and fix it for the upcoming update.

Farming in the Dark Zone means you won't have to worry about leveling your character out of the sweet spot, and once you've picked up enough mods to fill out your build, you can just dump them in your stash to pick up with your main character. Right now, it seems the most effective way to maximize your damage output is taking a new character at level 16 into one of the three Dark Zones to farm green and blue system mods and protocol mods. These can provide 4% or 5% boosts to raw weapon damage much better than the high-end, high-gear score mods that add tiny boosts to critical hit chances, for instance. The low gear score on early mods doesn't matter you can slot up to eight of these into your armor and wind up with an additional 30-40% extra damage.

We recently updated our Division 2 guide with a look at the new Hard Wired, True Patriot, and Ongoing Directive gear sets, a full guide on how to obtain the the Pestilence Exotic LMG, and the first part of the quest to get the Nemesis Exotic sniper rifle. If you have any issues pertaining to wherever and how to Buy Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Credits, you can get hold of us at our own web page. Sometime ahead of Title Update 3 later this month, the PTS client will appear as a separate, optional download on the Uplay launcher for all PC players (it won't be available on the Epic Games Store, but if you own it there you also have it on Uplay). Your progress from the live servers will automatically be copied over onto the PTS, but don't expect it to follow you back.

This tactic probably won't be effective forever. In the latest State of the Game livestream, Massive said it's aware of the issue with low-level mods, but it's not clear yet what if any plans exist to address the issue. It's a safe bet that they'll be tackling it in a future patch.
